As I sit here in our empty classroom, I already miss the sounds of your sweet children. I hope this summer is full of memories that will last a lifetime. Report cards are in the large manila envelope, with the artwork attached to the front. Enclosed you will also find your child's Acadience reports, their login sheet for Clever.com and how to link to your child's Prodigy account. Please review the report card and if you have any concerns, please let me know. I always do my best to ensure the report cards are accurate, but there is a chance I missed something. Your child also has their 3rd grade Memory Book. The back cover has a table of contents of what should be included. I have added their Weekend News entries and multiplication/division growth charts for reference. We worked on our ABC's of 3rd Grade and that is included as well. My hope is that this will become a treasured memory for years to come. If there are portions of the book that your kiddo has not completed, this would be great summer writing practice. :-) I have also encouraged each student to read 20 minutes/day and spend 5 minutes reviewing math facts a couple of times each week. This will keep them moving forward and ready for 4th grade in the fall.
Thank you all for the appreciation gifts at Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Week, and today. Everyone has been so thoughtful this year. I do not monitor my district email regularly through the summer but can be reached through my personal email address at [email protected], or through my Sandy City Council email at [email protected]. Please let me know if you have any questions and be sure to keep in touch!
Wishing you all a safe and adventurous summer,
Ms. Alison Stroud
