ELA- As a grade level team, we decided to extend the text set Clever Jack Takes the Cake for an additional week. This gives us the week following Spring Break, and the next Monday to solidify the concepts primarily because we gave so much time this last week for students to read their biography books and work on their packets in class.
Biography Books- Students had close to two hours this week to read their books and fill out their packets. If your child has not completed the book or packet, he/she will need to do so at home over the break. On Monday, April 8th, we will begin the Canva presentation online component. Students need to have their book read and packet completed by Monday.
Math- We completed all of the lessons in Topic 14 today. When we return, we will work on our Measurement Monday activity, then take teh next couple of days to review. The Topic 14 OPM is scheduled for Thursday, April 11th.
Science- Quick reminder that students will need to bring in 3 empty disposable water bottles to complete their water cycle project. Please have the water bottles here at school no later than Monday, April 15th.
Home-School Talking Points-
1. We had a mega Blooket afternoon. Did your child qualify to participate? (Needed to have 3 math skills packets completed.)
2. The Jordan High School LIA group put on quite the assembly for us today. What did they do?
3. We changed up our seating arrangement. Who does your kiddo sit by?
Enjoy your Spring Break,
Ms. Stroud
